Because of the recurrence of his heart disease, Xu Tian passes out at the airport, and is saved by a heart transplant. After the surgery, he lives in his mother's matchmaking service agency, and encounters Liang Xiaohui, who comes for a blind date, and the two later become soul mates. At one point, Liang Xiaowei thinks Xu Tian closely resembles her ex-husband, who passed away in the accident, so much that she is unsure of her feelings for Xu Tian. Psychiatrist Bian Zhijun eliminates Xiaohui's confusion. In an elevator accident, Xiaohui's young assistant Jia Xiaoduo inexplicably falls in love with middle-aged Xu Tian. Affections grow among these characters.
