Approved by the National Radio and Television Administration in 2010, China Central Newsreel and Documentary Film Studio (Group) was established, comprising China Central Newsreel and Documentary Film Studio and Beijing Scientific and Educational Film Studio. In April 2019, the group was officially integrated into China Media Group.

As recorder and preserver of the filmedhistory of China, our extraordinary creative power has led us to be called China’s“National Team”of producing documentary films,scientific and educational filmsover the years. We have producedlots of award-winningprograms of various types and topicsranging from documentary films, television documentary, scientific and educational films, to new-media short videos, which have beenreleased in Chinese theaters and international festivals, andbroadcasted on worldwide mainstream media platforms.
