Call for Entries | The 7th China-Shenyang International Youth Video Festival in 2023
Shenyang, the hometown of Ren Qingtai, the father of Chinese film; Youth, let the image radiate the power of ideal light. Image because of youth and unique feelings, the world has a distance because of image. Shenyang International Youth Video Festival is an important activity focusing on young creators, finding creative images and supporting the power of new images, based on shenyang, the hometown of film.
With the theme of "New Youth, New Image, New Power", the 7th Shenyang International Youth Video Festival invites young filmmakers from home and abroad to write the chapter of the times with images and accumulate the power of dreams with actions! The festival will collect original films, short scripts and film reviews, and select high-quality original films for screening. Award-winning works will receive special support and opportunities to communicate with top film and television practitioners and scholars in the industry.

Requirements
The entries are divided into original films, short scripts and film reviews, and are open to students in universities, film creators, video enthusiasts and other young filmmakers at home and abroad who are no more than 35 years old.
1. Films include feature films, documentaries, creative videos, animated films and others. The completion period is limited to June 2022 to May 2023.
2. The film format should be MPG, MOV, WMV, AVI, MP4, RMVB, and the duration of the work should be 45 minutes or less, with Chinese and English subtitles.
3. The film review should be for domestic and foreign films released in theaters between July 2022 and May 2023, and the word count should not exceed 3,000 words.
4. Short screenplays should be limited to 10,000 words, including the title of the screenplay, a brief description of the story (within 300 words), a short biography of the characters, and the body of the screenplay.
5. Format requirements for screenplay and film reviews: title in bold, subheading in bold, body text in small 4-point font, single-spaced, with name, contact information, university (or graduation institution), department and major at the end.
