From Sep 13th to 17th, IBC2019 was held in Netherlands. BIRTV successfully hosted China Pavilion–China International Broadcasting Industry Exchange Conference and participated in IBC2019. 

The conference was organized by State Council Information Office of  People’s Republic of China and National Radio and Television Administration of  People’s Republic of China(NRTA), and co-organized by China Radio and TV Co. for International Techno-Economic Cooperation(CRTV) and BIRTV.  

The theme of the conference was “international broadcasting industry exchange”. Participants from China and other countries had communication and exchanges with live audiences on topics such as 4K/8K ultra-high definition production and broadcasting technology, 5G transmission and development trend, new development of media convergence via keynote speeches, dialogues and discussions, and business negotiations. Mr. Ding Wenhua, Academician of China Engineering Academy and former chief engineer of CCTV, and representatives of ZTE, Jetsen, Sobey, Dayang, CTVIT, Gefei, Swit and Insta360 gave speeches on the conference. 

Mr. Sun Kelin, Vice President of CRTV, delivered a speech on behalf of the organizer. Sun said, “China Pavilion is like a name card of China Broadcast Industry. IBC is a global top-level exhibition in radio and television industry, which has huge influence and is an important platform for many Chinese companies to promote Chinese technology and products to Europe and the world. By taking advantage of IBC, BIRTV hopes to deepen exchanges with our counterparts and friends, get connected with foreign broadcasting markets and promote cooperation ” 

The successful holding of this conference is an active attempt for China Pavilion to land on the international mainstream radio and television technology and equipment exhibitions. As an important carrier of international cultural exchanges, BIRTV will also carry out multi-level cooperation and deepen all-round exchanges in China's radio and television industry to Europe and the wider international region.
