In July this year, the ancient immortal drama "Immortal Samsara" produced by YouKu was simultaneously broadcast online at home and abroad, and the dubbed versions of the drama in Vietnamese and Thai were simultaneously launched on YouKu International Edition APP and Youku YouTube official channel, which were loved by viewers. This is the first time for a domestic C-drama to achieve simultaneous broadcasting of overseas multilingual dubbed versions. On TrueID, the largest long-running video pay platform in Thailand, the show's airplay exceeded that of local Thai programs, ranking No. 1 for the same period, and was the best C-drama ever broadcast on the platform. Immortal Samsara was also a huge hit in Europe and the US, where fans of the show took it upon themselves to organize a team of over 200 translators to produce subtitles in French, German, Italian, Polish, Spanish and Romanian.

Immortal Samsara tells story of Ying Yuan, the emperor of the three worlds, and Yan Tan, the Nymphaea fairy, as they get to know each other, clear up their misunderstandings, and finally join forces to declare war on the evil forces and protect the world together.

It has become YouKu's conscious action to promote quality content abroad. As of April 2022, YouKu has over 1,100 programs with a total of 10,000 episodes released overseas, achieving full coverage of drama, variety, culture, documentary, animation, online movies, etc. In 2019, "The Longest Day in Chang’an" was launched in North America as "paid content", and this is the first time for domestic C-dramas to enter the monthly subscription zone.
