The 3rd Hong Kong Bauhinia International Film Festival First Call for Films Launched!
The 3rd Hong Kong Bauhinia International Film Festival will be held in Hong Kong, China in October 2024. The theme activities of the HKBIFF are mainly composed of the opening ceremony and red carpet ceremony, the film industry development forum, the excellent film screenings, and the closing ceremony and award presentation ceremony. From January 1, 2024, the 3rd Hong Kong Bauhinia International Film Festival will open to the world to collect outstanding film works.
Scope of Selection
The Hong Kong Bauhinia International Film Festival offers a short film section and a main competition section for Chinese-language films in Mandarin, foreign-language films, feature-length films of 60 minutes or more, and short films of less than 45 minutes (short films include commercials, documentaries, and microfilms), with no restriction on subject matter.

Entry Fee
A non-refundable entry fee of RMB 131 will be charged for the Short Film category, while the Main Competition category is free of charge.
Entry Method and Procedure
Application materials required: All participating film crews must provide the organizing committee with the complete film, trailer, poster, stills, Chinese filmography, director's introduction, screenwriter and cast list, and save them to Baidu.com, then send the link to Baidu.com and the extraction code to the designated email address of the organizing committee of the film festival.
