It is an old folktale in China. Nezha was born out of a fleshy ball with Herculean power, who was selected by goddess Nuwa to embody justice, fighting with the evil power in the earth. Goddess Shiji, representing the evil power, was trying to acquire the energy from Nezha. When got failed every time, she intended to kill Nezha. With the help of Nuwa and friends, Nezha fought fiercely with Shiji. Experiencing numerous difficulties and hardships, he had grown from a naïve naughty boy to a little hero.
