This serial animation is adapted from one of four most famous classical Chinese novels, titled “Journey to the West”. “Journey to the West” is a famous Chinese fairy tale. The story tells about Tang Xuanzang, a monk of the Tang Dynasty (618-907) on his journey to the West for Buddhist sutra, accompanied by his disciples, Sun Wukong, the clever and humorous Monkey King, the stupid and funny Pigsy and the honest and brave Sandy, and how the Monkey King fight with the ghosts and demons. The Pigsy takes a role as comic, and Sandy as a true man. Their journey is full of difficulties and adventures, but their rough experience is paid back by finally obtaining the Buddhist sutra in the west. Many artists and experts dedicate their efforts in the production. The young audience are to sure to enjoy this animated series.
