The death of Tang's father (played by Wang Zhiqiang) shatters their peaceful life, as Tang's father asks them to have a child in his will. The couple is caught in a dilemma. After experiencing things in life, the couple finally decides to obey the father's wishes. But after several attempts, the wife still hasn't conceived.
