The 11th China Internet Audio & Video Convention Opens in Chengdu

On March 28, the 11th China Internet Audio & Video Convention was held in Chengdu.

 

The opening ceremony included the launching ceremony of "Seeing China Global Broadcasting" to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of China, the launching ceremony of "Traveling with Micro-Short Drama", and the release ceremony of the joint declaration of the network audiovisual industry. At the same time, guests were invited to give speeches on "The Two-Way Journey of Literature and Audiovisual Network", "Intelligent Audiovisual Network Serving Chinese Modernization", "Philosophical Logic and Innovative Application of AI Short Video", and so on. The conference will be held in Beijing, China.

 

The China Internet Audio & Video Convention has been successfully held for ten years. With the theme of "Extreme Audiovisual - Strong Empowerment", this year's conference is based on the positioning of creating an "authoritative release platform, results display platform, industry empowerment platform and public sharing platform", and is centered on the aspects of growing mainstream public opinion, cultivating high-quality content, strengthening technological empowerment, deepening industry governance and strengthening international communication. 


The conference will set topics around growing mainstream public opinion, cultivating high-quality content, strengthening technological empowerment, deepening industry governance, and enhancing international communication, etc. In addition to the opening ceremony, main forum, technology and high-quality program exhibitions, it will carry out nearly 40 thematic forums and release activities, 45 citizens' experience activities, and 50 screening points, focusing on the application of new technologies and interactive participation. This year's conference attracted more than 2,000 industry enterprises and organizations and more than 10,000 guests, promoting in-depth exchanges and cooperation among all parties in the industry.

 

The Research Report on China's Network Audiovisual Development (2024) released by the conference shows that as of December 2023, there were 1.074 billion network audiovisual users, the average single-day use of short videos was 151 minutes per capita, and the network audiovisual market size exceeded 1.15 trillion, with more than 660,000 enterprises and a total of 1.55 billion short video accounts across the network.
