Brief introduction

The humanistic documentary series “Tasting the Flavors of Hand-Pulled Noodles” was produced in 2021 and premiered on the iQiyi platform in June 2022. The series consists of three episodes, with each episode lasting 25 minutes. With its delicate hollowness, pale color, and sweet taste, the handmade hollow noodles from Wubao County have a history of over a thousand years. In 2011, they were listed as the third batch of intangible cultural heritage in Shaanxi Province and earned the reputation of being the “best noodles in the world.” The documentary “Tasting the Flavors of Hand-Pulled Noodles” revolves around the handmade hollow noodles from Wubao in northern Shaanxi. It comprehensively showcases the craftsmanship involved in making these noodles by hand and infuses traditional culture with new connotations.
