About MIMF

The Macau International Movie Festival (MIMF), founded in 2009 by the Macau Film and Television Media Association, is the only international film festival with an official registered trademark granted by the Macau government and is held in Macau every December.

It aims to take advantage of the convergence of Eastern and Western cultures in Macau to showcase the best films from around the world. While encouraging the diversified development of the film (TV, animation) industry, the festival aims to nurture new talents in film, TV and animation in Macau, build a platform to match capital with film and TV projects, and create the international vision expected of a first-class film festival. To mobilize public participation by bringing together international film (TV, animation) producers, investors and international film and TV stars as well as business celebrities. Through the colorful film screenings and various supporting activities, combined with the tourism resources and entertainment elements of Macao, we will strive to create a film and television carnival in which the world's filmmakers and the general public will participate.
