Guangdong Radio and Television and Brazilian Mainstream Television Organize China-Brazil TV Week
In order to strengthen the cultural exchange between China and BRICS countries, Guangdong Radio and Television (GDTV) joined hands with the mainstream Brazilian television media TVE BAHIA to launch the 2022 China-Brazil TV Week on September 26, with both sides broadcasting excellent programs to promote mutual understanding between the people of the two countries.
During the TV Week, TVE BAHIA will broadcast the famous culture and art column "Very Bahia" (6 episodes, 25 minutes each), introducing to Chinese viewers the creative design, traditional culture and art of Brazil with great style. During the same period, ETV Bahia broadcasted the excellent documentary "Fields of Hope: On the banks of the Lalin River" (6 episodes, 50 minutes each) in Portuguese and Brazilian, with one episode per day, showing the new changes in the Chinese countryside and the new hopes of Chinese farmers to the Brazilian audience for 6 days.
Flavio Gonsalves, Director of Bahia Educational Television, recorded a special video message to kick off the 2022 China-Brazil TV Week. Flavio Gonsalves said that the TV Week allowed Brazilian viewers to strengthen their understanding of Chinese culture and China's development, and looked forward to continuing cooperation with Guangdong Radio and Television to strengthen cooperation and exchange of programs.
