The aim of the Hong Kong Bauhinia International Film Festival is to promote the internationalization of China's new mainstream cinema, to commit to global exchange and cooperation among filmmakers, to learn together, to integrate resources, to promote more film practitioners to bloom the flower of characteristics, the organizing committee of the festival will hire experts in the film industry to form a jury, give recognition to outstanding film workers, improve the audience's appreciation level and create more outstanding films. The first "Hong Kong Bauhinia International Film Festival" Bauhinia Award Ceremony will be held in Macau on December 14-16, 2022, and the press conference will be held in Beijing on September 19, 2022, with the opening ceremony and red carpet ceremony, and the closing ceremony and award ceremony. From the beginning, the call for outstanding film works for the world, the third phase of the call for films (the last phase) officially began on October 19.
