Registrations are officially open to submit films and take part in the 2023 edition of the Annecy International Animation Film Festival.

Little Nicholas – Happy as Can Be, Interdit aux chiens et aux Italiens, Amok, Steakhouse, Anxious Body, The House, Persona, and Glimpse were some of the many works awarded during the Annecy Festival 2022 awards ceremony. Who will be the prizewinners at the 2023 edition?

If your film is selected, you will join us at the Annecy Festival from 12th to 17th June 2023 to see it projected onto the big screen, and also enjoy our spotlight on Mexican animation.

If your film is still in its project stage, stay tuned for the upcoming registrations to the Mifa Pitch Sessions, which will give you the opportunity to present your animation project to an audience of potential partners and financial backers.

How does it work?

1. Make sure your film is online and downloadable (on Smash, Vimeo, SendAnywhere, Dropbox, WeTransfer etc), prepare the web link to the film (URL) and login+password (they will be requested on the entry form).

2. Prepare a synopsis of the film in French or English (max. 250 characters).

3. Prepare your filmography: Maximum 3 titles, include the production dates and the English title (otherwise put the French or original title).

4. Prepare 1 to 3 images from the film: Jpeg or PNG HD 1920 px X 1080 px 72 dpi minimum.

5. Choose the film category from below.

6.Complete the information requested in the 4 parts of the form.

7.Confirm your registration. You will receive a confirmation by email with a PDF recap.
