"China Pavilion" at 2023 Content Americas

On January 24, 2023 Content Americas kicked off with a bang. This year's Content Americas, held in Miami, USA from January 24 to 26, is the first large-scale international film and television exhibition to start the year. Entrusted by the Bureau of Foreign Promotion of the State Council Information Office and the Department of International Cooperation of the State Administration of Radio and Television, Jiangsu Radio and Television International Communications Co. Ltd. is responsible for organizing and setting up the "China Pavilion" and hosting the "China Program Presentation" and "Dialogue with China - Media Roundtable Forum" and other related activities. This is also the first time after the epidemic that the "China Pavilion" has appeared in Europe and the United States offline international film and television festival exhibition, attracting the attention of many overseas buyers. 21 Chinese exhibitors brought dozens of works covering a variety of genres such as TV series, documentaries, animation and variety shows, which became the highlight of the festival.

During the Chinese New Year festival, the "China Pavilion" was decorated with special ornaments with Chinese Spring Festival flavor, lanterns, Chinese knots and rabbit dolls to create a festive and peaceful atmosphere for the Chinese New Year, which impressed the participants with the Chinese Spring Festival culture in the festive atmosphere.

 

The "China Pavilion" has planned two side events at this year's Festival, including a "China Program Presentation" and a "Dialogue with China - Media Roundtable Forum". The "China Program Presentation" and the "China Dialogue - Media Roundtable" will be held in the China booth.

In the "China Program Presentation", the programs of the exhibitors were edited, translated and packaged in an integrated manner, and then screened on site. The rich content resources were presented in eye-catching videos, representing the most advanced creative direction and top production level of Chinese programs, providing sufficient choices for overseas buyers participating in the 2023 Americas TV Festival.

 

With the theme of "Dialogue with China", the Media Roundtable Forum invited representatives from major broadcasters, new media platforms and film companies from China and abroad to discuss the new blueprint for international TV cooperation. David Jekinson, editor-in-chief and managing director of C21 Media UK, Felipe Rey, head of business development of Google TV, Cheng Fangzhou, representative of Jebsen China TV in the U.S., and Wang Chun, deputy general manager of Jiangsu Broadcast Golden Dream Communications USA Ltd. attended the forum as guests and participated in the discussion. During the forum, the guests exchanged and analyzed the current situation and trends of overseas distribution, shared real business experiences, and gave useful suggestions for the internationalization of Chinese content from the perspective of international partners.
