After the ChatGPT fire, the "Chinese version of ChatGPT" is on its way. If things go well, Baidu's "Wenxin Yiyin" (English name: ERNIE Bot) will be available to everyone in March.

On February 14, a number of media outlets "showed their love" by announcing that they would become the first batch of Baidu's "Wenxin Yiyin" and would be given priority to use "Wenxin Yiyin" for internal testing and integration.

The Hubei Radio and Television Integrated Media News Center announced that it has become the first batch of Baidu's "Wenxin Yiyin" first experience officers. The product will be used to assist Hubei Radio and Television's news production, and the related technology will be debuted in the "Love Poem to Wuhan" campaign.

In the newspaper industry, Shanghai Newspaper Group's The Paper announced that it has become the first batch of early experience officers of Baidu's "Wenxin Yiyin". Subsequently, The Paper will apply the results of Baidu's leading intelligent dialogue technology to create a full range of content ecology artificial intelligence products and services.

According to public information, the first "Wenxin Yiyin" can be combined with Baidu's search engine. A source close to Baidu revealed that the first stop of "Wenxin Yiyin" on the ground will be directly connected to Baidu search. At present, "Wenxin Yiyin" related functions have been on line in Baidu search or internal testing, including multiple answers to reply, intelligent generation, etc.

Compared with traditional search engines, the search with ChatGPT can provide more intelligent single answers and save users the trouble of repeatedly clicking on links to find answers.

Professor Yu Guoming, director of the Experimental Platform for Communication Innovation and Future Media at Beijing Normal University, believes that what is really valuable about AI is, to a greater extent, its intelligent conversion of various technologies. "So in China, technologies like ChatGPT, in terms of some technology applications, such as converting from text to video, or matching it with suitable music, making certain automated editing or creation, or doing certain user service system optimization and other to B business, can be introduced into a wide variety of to B business segments. And in China, the market for this application is also relatively large."

"Many applications and algorithms like media brain and communication brain still need to have a higher AI model to do some transformation, and this will undoubtedly become the most important change that will happen in the media world in the coming year. What we can predict is that a variety of media products, media services, media phenomena that will emerge in the future have the deep involvement of artificial intelligence behind them." He said.
