The highly anticipated coming-of-age series, Where Dreams Begin, featuring idols Xiao Zhan and Li Qin, made its debut during the ongoing 27th Hong Kong International Film & TV Market on March 13.
Unfolding the 1970s, the Beijing-set drama delves into the personal journeys of a group of young people as they navigate a rapidly changing society amid China's reform and opening-up process, with their career pursuits ranging from enlisting in the Chinese army to starting up a business.
The event, which is organized by Hong Kong Trade Development Council and will last until March 16, has drawn more than 700 exhibitors from over 30 countries and regions.
Where Dreams Begin is scheduled to be released both domestically and overseas.
