China Pavilion at the Arab Radio and Television Festival

From June 26 to 29 local time, the Online Platform of China Pavilion organized more than 20 Chinese audiovisual institutions such as Beijing Municipal Bureau of Radio and Television, Fujian Provincial Administration of Radio and Television, Guangxi Provincial Administration of Radio and Television, Fujian Media Group, Sichuan Radio and Television, Ningxia TV station, Guizhou Satellite TV , China Mobile - Migu Culture Technology , iQIYI, Huace Group, Linmon International, Daylight Entertainment, Zoland Animation, Jiaping Pictures, Junjian Film and Television, which made an appearance at the 24th Arab Arab Radio and Television Festival in Tunisia.

Mr. Dong Xin, Deputy Director General of the State Administration of Radio and Television of China, Mr. Wan Li, Chinese Ambassador to Tunisia, Mr. Mohammed, CEO of Saudi Radio and Television Authority and President of the Arab States Broadcasting Union (ASBU), Mr. Suleiman, Secretary General of the Arab States Broadcasting Union, Mr. Dali, Director General of Tunisian National Television, and other distinguished guests paid a visit to the China Pavilion and attended the forum. During the festival, a number of organizations reached cooperation intentions and signed contracts, achieving fruitful results.

On June 27, the "Sino-Arab Audio-Visual Cooperation Forum and China Excellence Program Promotion" was successfully held in Tunisia.

This year, coinciding with the 20th anniversary of the China-Arab States Cooperation Forum and the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Tunisia, this year's TV festival, the China Pavilion displayed more than 70 works, including TV dramas "To the Wonder" and "On the Road", documentaries "China" and "The Origin of Silk Sea", animations "Princess Doremi" and "Magic Rye is Back", and variety shows "Be My Guest" and "Divas Hit The Road Season V" and so on. The works are rich in themes and types, showing the humanistic connotation and artistic concepts of China's audiovisual industry in an all-round and three-dimensional way. The rich works and wonderful film show made the audience from different countries interested.

During the festival, the China Pavilion, under the theme of "Sino-Arab Friendship, Audiovisual Learning Together", held the "Sino-Arab Audio-Visual Cooperation Forum and China Excellence Program Promotion", which was attended by more than 100 Chinese and foreign guests, and attracted great attention from many media organizations in the Arab region.

The forum achieved fruitful results. Dong Xin, on behalf of the State Administration of Radio and Television, signed a cooperation agreement with ASBU, under which the two sides will strengthen cooperation in the fields of broadcasting and new media in terms of policy exchanges, program exchanges, technology industry and talent cultivation, etc. The Online Platform of China Pavilion, Fujian Provincial Administration of Radio and Television, and China Television Artists Association also signed cooperation agreements with relevant units on the Arab side.

At the same time, the Online Platform of China Pavilion at the festival also widely solicited excellent programs translated and dubbed in Arabic, and recommended five works to participate in the selection of the ASBU Program Award in 2024.
