Sichuan Radio and Television (SRT) is the most influential media group with the greatest comprehensive strength at provincial level in Western China. Its business covers radio, television, and new media, including 9 broadcast frequencies, namely Comprehensive Frequency(FM98.1), News Frequency (FM 106.1), Nationality Frequency (AM 954), Economic Frequency (FM 89.4), Transportation Frequency (FM 101.7), Literature & Art Frequency (FM 90.0), Minjiang Music Frequency (FM 95.5), City Frequency (FM 102.6) and Tianfu Radio (FM 92.5), and 9 television channels, namely Sichuan TV(Satellite channel), Kangba TV(Satellite channel), Culture & Travel Channel (SCTV-2), Economic Channel (SCTV-3), News Channel (SCTV-4), Film & Entertainment Channel (SCTV-5), Star Home Shopping Channel(SCTV-6), Women & Kids Channel (SCTV-7), Sichuan Countryside Channel (SCTV-9) as well as such client version products as Sichuan Observation, Panda Video, Panda Listening, Shambhala News,etc.  

SRT tells the story of Sichuan to the world, showcasing the profound history and culture of Sichuan as well as the booming development of modern Sichuan. The flagship channel Sichuan TV covers most Asia areas including Mongolia, North Korea, Japan,etc., as well as Australia and New Zealand, while Kangba TV, a main platform for broadcast of Tibet-related content is launched in multiple regions in Nepal and India.

Sichuan Radio and Television is committed to cultural exchange with other countries. It has held 15 sessions of Sichuan TV Festival since 1991, which has now become an international cultural brand, as well as an important platform for film and TV content and equipment transaction. The festival has established contact with over 3300 media organizations from over 70 countries and regions.
