On the Beginning of Spring, all things are renewed. The twenty-four solar terms, listed by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, embody the Chinese people's meticulous carving of time, and provide endless room for imagination in literary creation.

China Radio Art Troupe, together with the Chinese and Foreign Language Exchange and Cooperation Center, explores the contemporary international communication value behind Chinese festival culture and invites more than 30 artists to create 24 episodes of Chinese festival culture music short videos "Melodies of 24 Solar Terms".

The series of short videos "Melodies of 24 Solar Terms" takes the 24 solar terms as its intention and the original concert "Life Rhythms - Symphonic Suite Concert of the 24 Solar Terms" by China Radio Art Troupe as its core content. The concert is a series of concerts, which are performed by more than 30 artists, including conductors, performers, directors, planners, cultural scholars and record publishers. The twenty-four episodes correspond to the twenty-four solar terms and are combined with twenty-four musical compositions. The artists talk about the cultural heritage, folkloric characteristics and musical creation concepts of each solar term in the Summer Palace, Guozijian, Beihai Park, Zizhuyuan and other classical buildings with Chinese characteristics, conveying the charm of traditional Chinese culture from an artistic perspective.

The core content of "Melodies of 24 Solar Terms" - "Life Rhythms" orchestral suite concert is a five-year original work created by China Radio Art Troupe, with Liu Xuejun, director of China Radio Art Troupe, as artistic creator and chief planner, Yang Qing, young composer, together with Nie Fang, director, Xiong Yubing, planner, as well as China Radio Film Symphony Orchestra, China National Radio and Television Orchestra, China National Radio and Television Orchestra and China National Radio and Television Orchestra. The concert takes traditional festival culture as its intention, and cleverly integrates music, poetry, dance, painting, chanting and other art forms closely, which is the basis for the artistic group to successfully launch the short video "Melodies of 24 Solar Terms".

In December 2022, the concert "Life Rhythms" made its world premiere on Apple Music, YouTube, Spotify and other international audio platforms, and is the first Chinese festival culture immersive orchestral suite Dolby Atmos digital album, with a multi-dimensional and layered musical atmosphere that opens up a different kind of imagination for the ancient festival culture to music lovers at home and abroad.
