On January 25th, CAA China and the Hong Kong International Film Festival Society (HKIFF Society) announced the 6 finalists for the "HKIFF Industry - CAA China Genre Film Program" . CAA China will provide US$20,000 in cash support and one-on-one professional mentorship to two of the six shortlisted projects, and will be involved in the follow-up work of the projects. CAA China will use its own global resources to help filmmakers realize their creative visions, and provide a broader platform for international cooperation for outstanding young filmmakers.

Film investors, festival programmers and industry professionals can now register online. Upon internal approval, all guests will have a private one-on-one meeting with the producers of the shortlisted film projects to discuss collaboration.
