National Geographic explorer and photographer Ben Horton teams up with three Chinese new-era explorers on extreme adventures. Two world-class snow sports athletes visit ski resorts in Jilin, China. They interact with the local people, show the audience the distinctive snow cultures in China and France, demonstrate the ways of seeking opportunities of development through exchanges, and explain by examples what “a community with a shared future for mankind” means.

Taste of Zhongshan II
Ten years ago, Taste of Zhongshan,I, was aired on CCTV-9 and maintained a ratings winner of the time slot for two consecutive weeks. The film was then broadcast successively in Hong Kong SAR, Macao SAR, Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei and other countries and regions, stirring a Zhongshan cuisine craze in Southeast Asia. The Taste of Zhongshan II project kicked off in 2022. Following the idea and style of the first season, the production team visited restaurants of various sizes, interviewed numerous famous chefs, and made an effort to discover hidden masters in the area. After eight months of hard work, the project was finally accomplished, which have not only demonstrated Zhongshan people’s enthusiasm for inheriting and promoting their local culture, but also provided an opportunity for more people to learn about and appreciate the culinary culture and customs of Zhongshan.
