《我在他乡挺好的》讲述了乔夕辰、纪南嘉、许言三个性格迥异80、90后的女孩，因为同乡好友胡晶晶发生意外，而开始质疑自己的异乡生活，最终在各种困境中遵从自己的内心，做回真正的自己的故事。剧中人物鲜活且具备代表性，无论是从小是大人口中“别人家孩子”的乔夕辰、表面光鲜亮丽却处于癌症观察期的纪南嘉、“被迫虚荣”却又真实坦荡的许言，甚至包括死去的小太阳般的胡晶晶，他们都是万千离开家乡前往他乡的年轻人的缩影。该剧以每集一个话题作为落点，现实主义的表现手法让每个有异乡打拼的人身临其境。最终探讨在经济高速发展的社会大流中，在后疫情时代漂泊他乡年轻人对于生活的思考。“人生不只一种选择，成功不只一种标准”、“心安之处是吾乡”，通过该故事为广大青年群体提供关怀，给予希望，也为老一辈和年轻一代观众搭建沟通的桥梁。 It tells the story of Qiao Xichen, Ji Nanjia and Xu Yan, three girls born in the 1980s and 1990s who, because of an accident with their hometown friend Hu Jingjing, began to question their life in a foreign land and finally followed their hearts in various difficulties, to be who I really am. The characters in the play are vivid and representative, whether they are Qiao Xichen, who was brought up as a “Child of others”, Ji Nanjia, who is on Cancer Watch, or Xu Yan, who is “Forced to be vain”but truthful and magnanimous, even the Little Sun like Hu Jingjing who died, they are the epitome of thousands of young people who have left their hometown for other places. Each episode of the drama as a topic of the landing, the performance of realism so that each has a foreign land to fight in real life. Finally, the author discusses the life of the young people living in other countries in the era of post-epidemic in the rapid development of economy. “Life is not only a choice, success is not only a standard”, “A place of peace of mind is my hometown”, through the story for the vast youth groups to provide care, give hope, but also for the older generation and the younger generation audience to build a bridge of communication.
