The narrative style uses specific cultural relics to bring history to life and express it more vividly. In post-production, it strives to present the most beautiful and authentic splendor of the great river, preserving genuine and precious visual materials for contemporary Nanjing and China. “The Splendor of the Yangtze River" consists of 12 episodes, each about 30 minutes long, and focuses on major themes such as civilization, waterway network, urban development, cultural significance, the pioneering role of modernization, environmental protection, and opening up.
