Call for Entries | The 10th Silk Road International Film Festival Belt and Road Youth Film Awards Program
The 10th Silk Road International Film Festival will be held on September 23, 2023 in Fuzhou, Fujian Province, China. This year's festival will continue to focus on seven main sections, including the Golden Silk Road Award Competition, the Launching Ceremony, Film Screenings, Film Forums, Film Markets, Belt and Road Youth Film Awards Program, and the Award Ceremony.
The Belt and Road Youth Film Awards Program consists of short film collection, professional judging, exhibition and communication, and commendation activities. The organizing committee will select 10 outstanding young directors and their works through the preliminary, review and final evaluation by the professional jury, and the creative teams of the shortlisted works will gather in Fuzhou during the 10th Silk Road International Film Festival for the screening of their works as well as subsequent exchanges with colleges and universities around the world. At the same time, the 10 outstanding young directors will also participate in the final commendation activities, and will be awarded a certificate and cash prizes by the organizing committee.
Entry Requirements
Young filmmakers (under 40 years old) from all over the world are invited to apply for the short films, and there is no restriction on the countries and regions, and short films that meet the following requirements are eligible to apply. Genre: Drama, animation, documentary, experimental short films.
Film Duration: no more than 30 minutes (including credits)
